IBIP Final Video Presentations
Please join the IBIP 2009 Class as they present their final video presentations on Thursday, October 8th, 7pm at the I-Hotel and Conference Center.
Students in the
International Business Immersion Program (ACE/BADM 436) worked in teams on
topics affecting the food & agriculture supply chains this past spring. Topics
and groups were selected based on individual students preferences. Student
teams wrote a research paper and presented their findings to the class prior to
their trip abroad. Immediately following the end of the spring semester,
the class traveled for 2 weeks in Europe this past summer taking a more
in-depth look at the critical issues surrounding the project and the issues
affecting the European Food & Agriculture supply chains.
This year the video topics
include:
Produce
Dairy
Agriculture
Machinery
Beer
Bio-diesel
Chocolate
The International Business Immersion Program is housed in the Department
of Agricultural & Consumer Economics, and is a joint program between the College
of ACES & the College of Business. The IBIP program is sponsored in part by
ADM, Bunge, Monsanto, OSI Group, Caterpillar, the Robert’s Experiential Learning
Endowment, Center for Business & Educational Research (CIBER) as well as
other private individuals.
