John Deere & BASF

We awoke to have breakfast in this huge beautiful colonial style great
room downstairs in the hotel. After filling up on fresh fruit, yogurt,
eggs, cereal and much more we loaded up the bus again. Our first visit
today was to the John Deere Werke Mannheim plant. We were each given
headsets through the walking tour, so hearing our host wouldn’t be a
problem. What an ingenious idea! After a very in depth question and
answer session, we had lunch on site with our hosts.

Next we went to BASF Plan Science Holding GmbH and Agricultural Center. We
sat through some very interesting lectures and took a tour of the
plant.

After the day was over, we were given some free time to roam around to roam
around the town center for a bit until dinner. A few people walked
around, some visited a Cathedral, others went looking for more photo
opportunities. Dinner rolled around within no time. We were given the
opportunity to eat with the days execs and the dinner was quite
delicious!

After dinner we loaded Hugo’s bus to go back to the hotel; Hugo even turned
on some techno music and the dowstairs part of the bus turned into a
dance party!
